Job description

1. Full-scale Warehouse Operation Management

Solely responsible for the daily overall operation of the Los Angeles overseas warehouse, covering the entire workflow of inbound receiving, shelf stocking, inventory management, order picking and packing, outbound shipment, and return & exchange processing. Established standardized operating procedures (SOPs) to improve order fulfillment efficiency and reduce the rate of mis-shipments, missing parcels and product damage.

2. On-site Team & Workforce Management

Managed full-time and temporary warehouse teams. Cooperated with on-site HR to arrange staff scheduling, on-the-job training and performance appraisal. Regulated on-site work discipline, mediated cross-cultural employee conflicts, and controlled staff turnover. Organized temporary manpower expansion and overtime scheduling during peak seasons, balancing operational productivity and California labor hour compliance regulations.

3. Inventory & Asset Control

Overseen regular full warehouse stocktakes and cycle counts, resolved inventory discrepancies, lost goods and damaged products, and delivered regular inventory review reports. Managed warehouse equipment including forklifts, packing machines and shelves as well as fixed assets, arranged periodic maintenance and inspection, and controlled the procurement and usage cost of warehouse supplies.

4. Order Fulfillment & Supply Chain Coordination

Collaborated with domestic operation teams, cross-border logistics providers and local trucking companies to ensure timely warehousing and last-mile delivery. Handled abnormal operational issues such as order surges, overstocked goods and return exceptions to optimize overall order fulfillment efficiency. Planned warehouse capacity and seasonal storage zoning in advance based on sales forecasts.

5. Cost & Budget Control

Formulated monthly warehouse budgets for manpower, operating supplies, logistics and equipment maintenance. Optimized staffing schedules and supply usage strategies to control comprehensive operational costs and achieve continuous cost reduction and efficiency improvement. Submitted regular operational, cost and capacity analysis reports to the domestic headquarters.

6. Local Compliance & Safety Management

Proficient in California warehouse safety regulations and labor policies. Implemented workplace safety standards covering forklift operation, hazardous goods storage and fire safety management. Handled on-site work injuries and equipment accidents, avoiding safety penalties and labor complaints, and maintained all warehouse operation licenses and insurance documents in compliance.

7. Process Optimization & System Establishment

Standardized the application of the WMS warehouse management system and optimized picking and inventory counting processes. Established in-warehouse management systems including reward and punishment rules and standard operating guidelines, and formulated emergency response plans for unexpected scenarios such as order explosions, cargo backlogs and customs inspections.

8. Cross-department Collaboration & Daily Support

Coordinated with domestic headquarters teams including operations, finance and HR to synchronize overseas warehouse operational data and existing problems. Assisted on-site HR with recruitment and labor relation affairs, and completed other warehouse operation tasks assigned by superiors.
