Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual counseling sessions with clients using video chat to promote mental health improvements.
• Utilize effective therapeutic techniques to facilitate discussions that help clients explore their emotions and experiences.
• Act as an advocate for clients by assisting them in defining personal goals and pathways to achieve them.
• Evaluate the mental conditions of clients, formulating and implementing treatment plans tailored to their specific needs based on a solution-focused approach.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse client population, primarily consisting of stable adults with low acuity needs. All clients are carefully screened prior to booking appointments, ensuring that they are well-matched with your therapeutic specialties and preferences. This prioritization allows you to focus on building strong therapeutic relationships while effectively addressing each client's unique circumstances.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or related field is required.
• Must be fully licensed by the state board, holding one of the following credentials: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• No limited or provisional licenses will be accepted, and applicants must demonstrate no disciplinary actions against their license.
• Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy and a supportive nature.
• Proficient in using technology and telehealth platforms.

Preferred Experience

While we are open to candidates across various experience levels, previous experience in a telehealth setting or conducting remote counseling can be an advantage. An understanding of digital therapy platforms and remote client communication will also be beneficial in this role.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 50,000 to 70,000 annually, dependent on your working hours and availability. Full-time counselors also receive an additional monthly healthcare stipend, further enhancing the overall compensation package.
