Job description

Job Title: Signage Project Manager / Technical Designer
Certified is a Midtown Manhattan graphics and signage company with over 20 years of experience. We are looking for a full-time Signage Project Manager / Technical Designer to help create shop drawings, coordinate production, and manage signage projects from approval through installation.
Compensation: $65,000–$75,000 per year, based on signage experience
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Work Location: In person, Midtown Manhattan
This is an in-person role for someone with experience in the signage industry who understands how signs are designed, produced, and installed.

Responsibilities:
  • Create technical shop drawings for ADA, interior, exterior, and architectural signage.
  • Prepare production-ready artwork and design files using Illustrator, CorelDRAW, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Review project details, measurements, materials, and client requirements.
  • Coordinate with clients, vendors, production staff, and installers
  • Track project timelines from design approval through fabrication and installation.
  • Help schedule production and installation work.
  • Review proofs, drawings, and production details for accuracy.
  • Support the team with site details, revisions, and project follow-up.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the signage industry.
  • Experience creating technical drawings or production files for signage.
  • Strong knowledge of ADA signage, exterior signage, materials, and production methods.
  • Proficiency with Illustrator, CorelDRAW, and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects at once.
  • Excellent communication skills with clients, vendors, and internal team members.
