Job Type: Full-Time, Non-Exempt
Work Location: In Person

Pay Range

$19.00 per hour
Plus a production bonus of $2.75 per cart repaired over 225 completed repairs per week.

Position Summary

ProFleet Industrial Services is seeking a Cart Repair Technician to support daily warehouse cart repair operations at our Tennessee location. This role is responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining warehouse carts to ensure safe and efficient operation within the facility.

The Cart Repair Technician works in a fast-paced warehouse environment and plays an important role in supporting operational productivity through consistent, high-quality repair work. This position works closely with warehouse leadership and team members to maintain production goals, quality standards, and workplace safety.

This is a non-exempt position and is eligible for overtime in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Inspect and repair warehouse carts using hand tools and repair equipment.
  • Diagnose cart damage and complete repairs efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
  • Replace damaged or worn cart components as needed.
  • Maintain repair productivity goals and communicate operational issues to leadership.
  • Follow all workplace safety procedures, PPE requirements, and company policies.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment.
  • Assist with loading, unloading, and movement of carts and materials throughout the facility.
  • Collaborate with warehouse team members and leadership to support smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Identify repair trends or recurring equipment issues and communicate recommendations for improvement.
  • Complete production tracking or operational support tasks as needed.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in warehouse operations, repair work, manufacturing, or industrial environments preferred.
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to safely use hand tools and repair equipment.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain consistent productivity and attention to detail.
  • Reliable attendance and ability to report to scheduled shifts.
  • Comfortable using basic technology and communication tools.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to safely lift and move materials weighing up to 75 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and repetitive movement throughout the workday.
  • Ability to work in warehouse environments with varying temperatures and noise levels.
  • Ability to safely operate tools and equipment used within the warehouse environment.

Schedule

  • Full-time position.
  • Schedule is Monday through Friday [8 working hours per day]. May include adjusted hours based on operational needs.
