Job description

A sophisticated and stylish principal with a distinctive aesthetic and active lifestyle is seeking a highly refined, detail-oriented professional to oversee and manage her wardrobe, styling, and personal presentation. This is a dedicated, principal-focused position based within a fully staffed private residence in the Dallas–Fort Worth area. The role reports directly to the Household Manager, and the successful candidate must work well with others and integrate seamlessly into an established team. 

The position centers on wardrobe organization, outfit development, travel packing, event styling, and ongoing closet management. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for fashion, experience working with fine clothing and accessories, and the discretion and professionalism required in a private household.  While the primary focus is on the principal's wardrobe and styling needs, this role requires flexibility and a team-first mindset. Responsibilities may evolve or shift as needed to support the household's overall flow and priorities.

Principal's Style: 

The principal embraces sophisticated, fashion-forward dressing that is age-appropriate, polished, and never dowdy. She has a specific style and values thoughtful presentation in both daily wear and special events. 

  • Bold colors and mixed prints; animal prints are a staple 
  • Sleeves required 
  • Hemlines below the knee 
  • No sheer fabrics, midriff-baring tops, or miniskirts 
  • Avoidance of plunging necklines 
  • No stiletto heels 
  • Lightweight, breathable fabrics (preference for cotton) 

She enjoys adventurous, creative looks for themed events and parties. As an avid horsewoman, she regularly attends major race events that require tradition-conscious yet stylish attire. Schedule : 

  • Full-time, Primarily Monday-Friday, with flexibility to work evenings or weekends as needed based on the principal's schedule.
  • Typical hours: 8:00/9:00 AM – 5:00/6:00 PM

  • No regular travel required, though occasional travel for sourcing/shopping may arise

Wardrobe & Closet Management 

  • Maintain impeccably organized closets, dressing rooms, and seasonal storage 
  • Handle fine clothing and accessories with the highest level of care 
  • Oversee garment care, including dry cleaning, shoe repair, and jewelry repair 
  • Maintain detailed tracking systems for items sent out and returned 
  • Process new purchases and coordinate returns or exchanges

Styling & Outfit Development 

  • Curate daily and event-specific looks aligned with the principal's aesthetic 
  • Ensure all ensembles are polished, fashion-forward, and appropriate 
  • Anticipate wardrobe needs based on calendar, travel, and climate 
  • Develop race-event and themed event attire with creativity and refinement 
  • Photograph and catalog outfits for continuity

Travel Wardrobe Coordination 

  • Prepare complete packing plans tailored to itinerary and climate 
  • Create detailed inventories of all items sent and returned 
  • Ensure all garments are travel-ready and restored post-trip 
  • Inspect garments upon return and coordinate necessary care
  • Pack and maintain both wardrobe and personal items (including toiletries and essentials)

• Spanish is a plus, not required
• Emotionally intelligent, adaptable, and able to maintain composure and perspective within a fast-paced environment


  • Experience in wardrobe management, personal styling, luxury retail, or related field 
  • Proven experience handling fine clothing and luxury accessories 
  • Strong knowledge of garment care and fabric handling

$115,000++/Annually - Commensurate with experience
