Job description

Porter & Rabinowitz Chiropractic is a family friendly and community-oriented chiropractic clinic, with both a male and female doctor for patients to choose, specializing in standard and advanced chiropractic techniques. We treat patients from newborn babies to the elderly, athletes of all levels and ages, chronic pain, preventative care, and functional wellness supportive care. We also have a functional wellness portion of the practice where we work on overall health.


We are looking for a confident, friendly, focused person to join our team!


The position is full-time with roughly 35-38 hrs/week, mixed between 5 days (Monday - Friday, half days on Friday) and is ideal for someone with experience in massage therapy, athletic training, or physical therapy assistant. Knowledge of anatomy (specifically muscles and muscle attachments) is necessary. The days would be spent working in patient treatment with the PWAVE acoustic shockwave machine and as a chiropractic assistant aiding the doctors with patient treatment . No prior experience in THERAPY is necessary, but is appreciated.


The Shockwave therapist position (full training upon hire) entails treating patients for specific areas of the body with an acoustic shockwave machine in a separate/private room.


The chiropractic assistant position requires handling patient flow from waiting area to other areas of the clinic, applying therapies to patients (we will teach, no prior experience required), being at ease touching patients and being around people in discomfort or pain, sanitizing office equipment, excellent people skills, an attitude of flexibility and adaptation, physical fitness level allowing being on feet and briskly moving around clinic, and a calm demeanor while busy.


This full-time position will involve both chiropractic assistant and Shockwave Therapy duties. Please do not apply if you are not interested in learning both duties.
