What are Full Time Sewers?

Full Time Sewers are professionals who operate sewing machines or sew by hand to assemble, repair, or alter garments, textiles, or other fabric products. They typically work in manufacturing plants, textile factories, or tailor shops and are responsible for ensuring high-quality stitching and meeting production deadlines. Their duties may include reading patterns, selecting appropriate fabrics and threads, and performing quality control checks. Familiarity with industrial sewing machines, cutting tools, and quality control systems is typically required. Strong hand-eye coordination, time management, and the ability to work collaboratively make someone stand out in this role.
