Curriculum Writer for High School Environmental Science
Job Summary:
The position is a for one (1) curriculum writer for High School Environmental Science
Location:
Abraham Clark High School
Duration:
July 1, 2026- August 1, 2026
Criteria/ Qualifications:
- Must hold appropriate New Jersey Science certification (Biology, Earth Science, Environmental Science-related, or other applicable Science certification).
- Must be knowledgeable in the New Jersey Student Learning Standards for Science (NJSLS-S) and Science and Engineering Practices (SEPs).
- Experience with curriculum writing and developing standards-aligned instructional materials preferred.
- Should be proficient in designing engaging, inquiry-based learning experiences, assessments, and differentiated instructional strategies for high school students.
- Knowledge of environmental science topics including ecology, sustainability, climate science, and human impact on Earth systems preferred.
Stipend/Salary:
$36.30 per hour/ 20 hours per person
