Job description

We are seeking an SAP Solutions Architect with deep SAP expertise and strong enterprise architecture skills who is able to define, design, and guide scalable S/4HANA solutions that align with business objectives and global standards. You will act as both a strategic advisor and hands-on leader, ensuring consistency, performance, and innovation across large-scale SAP transformation, providing thought leadership on SAP S/4HANA trends and best practices. You have strong business acumen, cross-functional knowledge, and experience leveragingand promoting SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), Fiori, integrated cloud components, AI/ML and advanced analytics to deliver best-in-class enterprise solutions. 
Responsibilities
  • Define the overall SAP S/4HANA solution architecture, covering process integration, data flow, and system landscape design. 
  • Lead fit-to-standard and solution design workshops, translating business requirements into integrated SAP solutions aligned with SAP Best Practices while driving adoption of standard SAP functionality, minimizing custom developments. 
  • Ensure end-to-end process integration across key business areas including Finance, Logistics, Manufacturing, and Procurement. 
  • Define and govern interfaces, enhancements (RICEFW), and extensions within an enterprise architecture framework as well as oversee integration with third-party applications such as 3PLs, MES, PLM, EDI, CRM, and HR systems. 
  • Maintain architectural consistency and governance across global and local rollouts.  
  • Provide leadership to SAP workstreams through all phases of the SAP Activate methodology and collaborate with Project Managers and Business Process Owners to drive timely decisions and maintain adherence to the global template. 
  • Review and approve key design documents, configuration specifications, and integration strategies. 
  • Support data migration, cutover, and business readiness planning activities. 
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
  • Up to 75% travel
  • 10 years of SAP experience, with at least 5 full-cycle S/4HANA implementations as Solution Architect or Lead including experience in template-based global rollouts and multi-country deployment models.
  • Deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA core modules (FI/CO, SD, MM, PP, or EWM) with strong cross-process integration knowledge.
  • Proven experience with SAP Activate methodology, including fit-to-standard workshops and agile project delivery.
  • Hands-on understanding of data migration, integration (IDocs, APIs, PI/PO, CPI), and Fiori/UI5.
  • Knowledge of SAP BTP, Analytics Cloud, and embedded analytics
  • Strong business acumen and ability to translate strategic objectives into practical SAP solutions.
Preferred qualifications
  • Experience with industry-specific solutions (e.g., Manufacturing, Automotive, Life Sciences, Consumer Goods). 
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance (SOX, GxP, export controls, etc.). 
  • Ability to mentor junior consultants and support pre-sales or proposal activities. 
  • SAP S/4HANA certification (Architecture or Solution track)

The base compensation range for this full-time position is between $175,000 - $225,000 plus benefits. Compensation decisions are supported through market data, where regional variances may exist based on cost of labor. We also take into consideration prior experience, relevant skills, education and/or training, certifications and as applicable, other required qualifications.
