Position Overview

The San Ysidro Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic team as a full-time remote clinician. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing therapeutic support and assessment to clients facing significant mental health challenges, including severe emotional disorders and major mental illnesses. Work Environment

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct clinical services to clients in need of mental health support, conducting assessments, individual, group, and family therapy sessions as appropriate.
  • Implement and manage integrated care plans tailored to the specific needs of clients, coordinating with family members and various providers to ensure comprehensive support.
  • Utilize your expertise in evidence-based interventions to conduct screenings and arrange for more detailed assessments when necessary, directly impacting the quality of care delivered.
  • Engage in crisis intervention efforts as needed, demonstrating your ability to respond effectively to urgent client needs.
  • Carry a caseload of clients, ensuring treatment plans align with each individual's presenting problems and requested services.
  • Monitor treatment efficacy, guiding clients through the admission process, ongoing stay requirements, and discharge protocols systematically.
  • Maintain compliance with ethical standards and organizational guidelines, upholding the integrity of the services provided.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing agency service delivery.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on supporting clients experiencing a range of mental health issues. These individuals often face significant challenges related to major mental illnesses and severe emotional disorders. By employing your clinical skills, you will work to empower clients as they navigate their treatment journeys, ensuring they receive the attentive care they deserve.

Qualifications
  • Currently licensed as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New York.
  • A strong foundation in mental health assessment, diagnosis, and the treatment interventions relevant to the populations served.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to facilitate effective interactions with clients and team members.
  • Well-developed organizational and planning abilities, capable of managing both a caseload and administrative responsibilities.
  • Cultural competence and sensitivity when working with diverse clients, ensuring respectful and effective communication.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a relevant setting, preferably focused on mental health or substance use disorders.
  • Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and telehealth platforms, enabling smooth service delivery in a remote environment.
Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive yearly salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 85,000, commensurate with experience.
