We are conducting interviews for the following positions:
PACE Personal Care Aide & PACE Certified Nursing Assistant
Position Summary:
Provides direct patient care services to the participants under the direction and supervision of a nursing staff member, as assigned by the Program Director.
Job Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • Current BLS Certification/Card
  • PCAs require 6 months of experience; CNAs require 1 year of experience
  • CNAs require a valid Nurse's Assistant California State Certification

Urgent Care Medical Assistant II/Urgent Care Technician
Position Summary:
Under direct supervision and within established scope of practice, Medical Assistant II Urgent Care Technician (MAII-UCT) will support the Urgent Care clinic by performing designated medical procedures as directed, and in accordance with San Ysidro Health policies and procedures. The MAII-UCT should be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide individualized care in a manner conducive to comfort, safety, and welfare of patients.
Additionally, the MAII-UCT assists in resolving and/or responding to non-clinical related patient complaints and inquires, acts as preceptor/trainer, and collaborates with clinic nursing supervisor to develop operational strategies and process improvements for department/unit.
Job Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • Completion of a course of study consistent with the requirements for Medical Assistants as specified by the Medical Board of California
  • Current BLS Certification/Card
  • 2 Years of Medical Assistant experience in addition to the successful completion of a Medical Assistant Externship

Patient Services Representative
Position Summary:
Answer telephones, greets, assists, and directs visitors, patients and other clinic office callers. Guides, screens, and registers new patients. Assists patients in obtaining services and provides information on funding eligibility and inquiries related to patient access processes, policies, and/or other related information; researches and resolves customer problems. Performs clerical duties to support the daily business activities of the location.
Job Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • One year of customer service experience or successful completion of internship at San Ysidro Health
