  • Develop and enforce best practices for data hygiene, security, and compliance
  • Perform and schedule routine database maintenance, including data deduplication, backups, and system audits
  • Consult with end users to improve adoption and develop internal documentation and training resources
  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • A commitment to Animal Equality's vision, mission, strategy and culture
  • 5+ years of experience in Salesforce administration and development
  • Salesforce Administrator and Salesforce Platform Developer I certifications
  • Proficiency in Apex, SOQL, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Visualforce
  • Demonstrated experience building custom applications, objects, flows, APIs, and integrations within the Salesforce ecosystem
  • Working knowledge of web development technologies (PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
  • Experience developing custom integrations between Salesforce and WordPress via APIs (REST/SOAP) for user-facing features such as portals, forms, or community features and sites with personalized content
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Track record of successfully driving cross-functional projects to completion
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail, with the ability to translate complex technical requirements for non-technical audiences
  • High degree of computer literacy, including proficiency with Google Workspace and project management tools
  • Ability to handle confidential donor and organizational data with discretion
