Job description

Description:

The CS Triage Specialist processes inbound orders from our referral sources through Medforce Command Center via Main Fax ,E-mail or Web Portal. The CS Specialist creates a task and/or workflow through Medforce and triages all documents to the appropriate department or Medforce bin. Triage Specialist may be required to offer additional support to CS team at managerโ€™s discretion depending daily work volume.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • At least 3 yearsโ€™ experience as a Customer Service Representative (CSR) in an inbound/outbound
  • customer service center is strongly preferred
  • Customer service experience in a Respiratory/Home Medical Equipment company is strongly preferred
  • Must have good PC skills, especially the MS Office suite


Job Responsibilities, included but not limited to:

  • Provide our clients with timely and accurate information, and take appropriate corrective actions regarding our services to ensure the customer and referrals have complete satisfaction
  • Triage documents in accordance with company standards and other verbal and written training policies
  • Follow proper procedures for accurate documentation triage of new referrals, notes, prescriptions, insurance documentation.
  • Maintain referral portals by reviewing the document submissions, deciphering which documents require triage
  • Perform other duties delegated at managerโ€™s discretion as Customer Service support

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and listen. The employee frequently is required to walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Requires the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies of 20 pounds but no more than 50 pounds.
