Salesforce Platform Governance amp; Advisory Consultant
Remote in the U.S. (Preferred Eastern or Central Time Zone, AL, CO, CT, FL, GA, IA, IL, MD, MN, OH, OK, PA, TN, TX, VA, WI, WV). Candidates must have the required Salesforce experience and be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis and must not require employer sponsorship for U.S. work authorization now or in the future. This position is in support of a federal U.S. contract and may be subject to additional eligibility requirements.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
Millsapps, Ballinger amp; Associates (MB amp;A) is seeking a Salesforce Platform Governance amp; Advisory Consultant to support the design oversight, platform quality, implementation governance, and sustainment of Salesforce-based solutions for federal customers.
YOU WANT TO:
- Make a significant impact by helping federal customers deliver secure, scalable, and maintainable Salesforce solutions.
- Apply your Salesforce technical depth to solution review, platform governance, design guidance, and quality oversight.
- Work across configuration, development, integrations, data, security, DevOps, and release management.
- Partner with customer stakeholders, external vendors, architects, developers, administrators, BSAs, and project leaders.
- Help establish strong Salesforce platform practices, reusable standards, documentation discipline, and release governance.
- Support mission-focused solutions without being limited to heads-down development work.
- Help MB amp;A protect customer outcomes by identifying technical risks before they become production issues.
YOU WILL:
- Provide technical oversight and advisory support for Salesforce implementation, enhancement, and sustainment work.
- Review Salesforce solution designs, configuration approaches, data models, automation patterns, and implementation plans.
- Review or advise on Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flow, OmniStudio, SOQL, integrations, and declarative configuration approaches.
- Evaluate Salesforce security models, including roles, profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, field-level security, auditability, and sensitive data handling.
- Support design reviews, architecture discussions, backlog refinement, sprint planning, release readiness, and quality assurance activities.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors performing Salesforce configuration, development, integration, and deployment work.
- Identify risks related to scalability, maintainability, governor limits, data quality, security, integrations, deployment scope, and production readiness.
- Support DevOps and release governance using tools and practices such as Salesforce DX, Git-based source control, Copado, Gearset, VS Code, metadata review, deployment validation, and release documentation.
- Help ensure Salesforce work is properly documented, tested, reviewed, and supportable after release.
- Support data governance, integration coordination, test data planning, data quality validation, and cross-system troubleshooting.
