Job description

We are driven to do more. More for our customers and the financial professionals who offer our products. If you are driven to do more and love the challenge of pursuing more, Athene is your kind of company. You will find we offer more than the basics to create an inclusive and dynamic work environment at our various locations.

Purpose:

At Athene, we believe technology and automation are key enablers of delivering exceptional service, improving operational excellence, and creating scalable business solutions. As an Automation Analyst - RPA, you will partner with business stakeholders to identify opportunities where intelligent automation can eliminate manual work, improve quality, and create better experiences for our customers and employees.
In this role, you'll combine analytical thinking, technical development, and cross-functional collaboration to design, build, test, and implement robotic process automation (RPA) solutions. You'll help transform business processes while supporting Athene's culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.

Accountabilities:

  • Partner with business stakeholders and process analysts to evaluate business processes and identify opportunities for automation using Robotic Process Automation (RPA).

  • Design, develop, document, test, and implement Automation Anywhere solutions that improve operational efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.

  • Create and maintain comprehensive business and technical documentation, including process flows, requirements, exception handling, and support procedures.

  • Coordinate quality assurance, user acceptance testing, deployment activities, and post-implementation support to ensure successful automation delivery.

  • Monitor automation initiatives, communicate project status, and proactively identify opportunities for continuous improvement through data-driven analysis and emerging technologies, including AI-enabled solutions where appropriate.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 3+ years of professional experience in automation, process improvement, business analysis, software development, or relevant experience.

  • Experience with Robotic Process Automation (RPA) platforms, process automation initiatives, or business process improvement; Automation Anywhere experience is preferred.

  • Experience with Jira and Confluence is strongly preferred.

  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify opportunities, evaluate alternatives, and develop creative, scalable solutions.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence stakeholders, adapt to changing priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated curiosity, innovation, a bias for action, and an understanding of how AI can responsibly enhance business processes are highly valued.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

*Willing to consider candidates at a higher-level dependent upon qualifications and experience.
