PEST CONTROL TECHNICIAN

  • If you have never considered a career in pest control, you are not alone!
  • Almost 80 percent of the people in our industry come from other industries.
  • Therefore, if a clearly defined career path for our diverse and inclusive company is important to you, and you enjoy working independently and solving customer's problems, you could be our next Pest Control Technician.

You will be responsible for building long-lasting, personal relationships with customers for one of the world's largest family-owned pest control companies. In addition to providing excellent customer service and pest control/rodent services, you will also have the opportunity to sell and grow your route.

A Truly Nolen Field Service Technician serves as a neighborhood pest expert, combining route sales, customer education, and hands-on pest/rodent control. Technicians operate independently, driving company vehicles to inspect properties, apply treatments, and build long-lasting client relationships.

Core Responsibilities

  • Inspections & Treatments: Assess residential and commercial properties to identify pest, rodent, and termite issues, applying targeted treatments using Integrated Pest Management (IPM).
  • Route Management: Manage a daily route, drive a company vehicle, and proactively sell additional services to grow your territory.
  • Exclusion Work: Perform preventative and corrective tasks, including trapping, nest removal, and physical mechanical exclusion (such as sealing off entry points).
  • Customer Education: Advise clients on sanitation, habitat modification, and ongoing prevention techniques to resolve their pest problems effectively.
  • Compliance & Paperwork: Accurately complete service records, chemical usage logs, and treatment reports while following all safety and regulatory guidelines

Minimum qualifications include:

  • Ability to work Full-Time
  • Previous experience working with customers
  • Enjoy working indoors and outdoors
  • Valid TEXAS Driver's License with a Good Driving Record
  • Agree to Criminal Background and Drug Testing
  • Be able to work outdoors, climb ladders, and go into small spaces

NO COLLEGE DEGREE OR BACKGROUND IN PEST CONTROL NEEDED!

  • Our company's world-renowned training department will provide you with all of the training and skills you will need to be successful.
  • You will receive ongoing incentive plans, a company car (or should we say "MOUSE CAR!"), along with continuous training and development. (NOTE: Company car not eligible for all positions)

One thing our partners all have in common: they found a career they never expected!
