TITLE: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
REPORTS TO: Director of Nursing
$20-$26 wage range
Job Summary: Provides quality and efficient care to each resident in a personalized way. Assists in the common goal of maintaining the well-being of each resident by providing the immediate personal care to residents. Observes and reports any changes in a resident's physical condition, changes in behavior and any incidents or accidents to the charge nurse.
Qualifications: Successful completion of an approved competency evaluation or approved nursing assistant training program required by the State of MN or currently enrolled in a nursing assistant class with competency evaluation within 4 months from the date of employment. The nursing assistant/registered is also required to have an ability to read, write and speak English, and complete and pass a state required background study form which checks for certain criminal convictions or serious/recurring maltreatment.
