Server / Bartender (Seasonal Full-Time) — Dismal River Club (Mullen, NE)

Season: Mid-May – Mid-October

Dismal River Club is a premier destination resort nestled in the Sandhills of Nebraska. We blend rugged wilderness and refined comfort — offering two world-class golf courses designed by Jack Nicklaus and Tom Doak, guided authentic outdoor adventures, and rustic-luxury lodging. Our spacious clubhouse features a full bar and restaurant where our guests enjoy elevated hospitality and an exceptional dining experience built around connection and service.

The Opportunity

We’re looking for energetic, reliable, and hospitality-driven Server/Bartenders who thrive in a fast-paced environment and love creating memorable guest experiences. This role is perfect for someone who wants a high-level service environment, strong earning potential, and a season that feels like a working getaway.

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver warm, polished service with a member-first mindset
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
  • Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, and wine with confidence
  • Comfortably present and recommend wine (pairings, styles, and upgrades)
  • Ensure guest check accuracy and proper payment handling procedures

  • Maintain clean, organized service areas and uphold clubhouse standards
  • Work closely with kitchen and FOH team to ensure smooth service
  • Stay calm, professional, and solution-oriented during peak volume

What We’re Looking For

  • Responsible, dependable, and team-oriented
  • Comfortable working under pressure in a high-volume setting
  • Strong wine knowledge and cocktail familiarity (able to speak to both)
  • Positive attitude and polished, professional presence

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma preferred
  • 3+ years serving experience preferred
  • Ability to confidently present wine and assist with selections
  • Strong communication skills (written, verbal, interpersonal)
  • Ability to multitask with minimal supervision
  • Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays

Physical Requirements

  • Stand and move throughout shift in a fast-paced environment
  • Lift, push, pull up to 40 pounds
  • Memorize and accurately describe menu items and features
