Job description

We're Not Hiring a Front Desk Position. We're Hiring the Person Who Turns "I'm in Pain" Into "I'm Committed to Getting Better."

The Disc Chiropractic is a cash-based disc recovery clinic in Wheat Ridge, CO. We specialize in spinal decompression, shockwave therapy, and corrective care — and we get real, measurable results for patients who've been told surgery is their only option.

We're looking for a Case Manager who can do two things at a high level: guide new patients into the right care plan with clarity and confidence, and — once trained — support treatment delivery on our decompression tables and shockwave therapy under our doctor's direct supervision. Our back-office team handles insurance verification, billing, and phones, so this role stays focused on the two things that actually require a skilled person in the room: closing the sale and supporting the patient's care.

If you want to be the person directly responsible for turning consultations into committed patients — and get paid per patient you personally enroll — keep reading.

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THIS ROLE

The Case Manager exists to convert qualified new patients into their recommended care plan through a clear, confident Day 1 & Day 2 experience, ensure patients follow through on their financial commitments, and — after training — support treatment delivery on the decompression tables and shockwave therapy.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN

Case Management & Sales

- Lead the Day 1 and Day 2 enrollment process — confident, ethical financial conversations, objection handling, and pricing integrity

- Ensure every Day 1 patient leaves with a scheduled Day 2 (Report of Findings) before they walk out the door

- Have the direct financial conversation with patients about their care plan and payment options — this is the core of the role, not an occasional task

- Run "rescue" outreach for patients who miss appointments or lapse on their care plan

- Ask for reviews and referrals as a natural part of the patient experience

- Track and report enrollment metrics weekly

- Scheduling (shared with our support team)

- Own the Day 2 booking at the point of enrollment — this is a sales action, not admin, and stays with you

- Trained as backup on general scheduling in Electronic Health Records when needed

Clinical Support (trained on the job)

- Set patients up on the spinal decompression tables per protocol

- Administer shockwave therapy under Dr. Rick's direct training and supervision — certification provided

- No prior clinical experience required — this is taught in-house after hire

What you won't be doing: Insurance verification, PI/auto insurance billing, or accounts receivable paperwork. We have a dedicated support team for that, so your time stays focused on patients in front of you.

WHO THIS IS FOR

- Someone with real sales or enrollment experience — gym memberships, med spa, dental, chiropractic, or similar high-trust consultative sales

- Someone comfortable having direct financial conversations with patients in pain, without flinching or over-apologizing for the price

- Someone who wants to be trained into a clinical skill, not someone who already expects to walk in fully credentialed

- Someone who wants their pay tied to results they personally drive, not just hours logged

WHO THIS ISN'T FOR

- Someone who wants a front-desk or general admin role

- Someone uncomfortable asking a patient in pain to commit financially to their own care

- Someone who needs daily hand-holding to stay on task

WHAT WE'RE OFFERING

- Base Pay | $20–$30/hour, depending on experience

- Enrollment Bonus

- Schedule: Full-time, on-site at our Wheat Ridge clinic

- Training: Full training and certification provided for shockwave therapy and decompression table setup, under direct doctor supervision

- Team: Small, tight-knit team with direct access to the practice owner and clinical director; back-office support team handles phones, insurance, and billing

Tell us:

1. About a time you had to ask someone to commit financially to something they were hesitant about — and how you handled it.

2. Your experience (if any) in a consultative sales or enrollment role.

3. Why a small, cash-based specialty clinic is the right fit for where you want to take your career.

Applications without responses to all three questions will not be reviewed.

The Disc Chiropractic | Case Manager & Patient Care Coordinator

Company Description

The Disc Chiropractic is a cash-based disc recovery clinic in Wheat Ridge, CO. We specialize in non-surgical spinal decompression, shockwave therapy, and corrective care for patients dealing with disc injuries, sciatica, nerve pain, and chronic back and neck conditions. People who've often been told surgery is their only option.
We don't take insurance. We don't chase volume. We take on the cases most clinics won't, deliver a level of care most patients have never experienced, and measure our success by whether people actually get better.
We're a small, focused team building something worth being part of.
