The Conscious Mind Health Clinic is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team on a full-time basis. This position offers the flexibility of a remote setting, allowing our therapists to provide care from virtually anywhere while maintaining the support and resources of a well-established clinic. Although the majority of counseling will be conducted remotely, therapists have the option to engage with on-site resources as needed, ensuring the best care delivery.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patients' mental health needs and collaboratively develop individualized treatment plans that respect their goals and values.
• Provide both short-term and long-term therapeutic interventions tailored to the needs of individuals facing emotional challenges, trauma, grief, or illness.
• Facilitate engaging therapy groups and workshops focusing on personal development topics such as coping skills, stress reduction, and mindfulness.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams—including medical professionals, social workers, and support staff—to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Participate in community outreach initiatives aimed at promoting mental health awareness and destigmatizing mental health issues, including organizing wellness events.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care in accordance with ethical guidelines and legal standards, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.

Our patient population encompasses a diverse group, including individuals facing chronic illness, end-of-life issues, and mental health challenges. As a mental health therapist, you will work with patients from varied backgrounds, providing culturally competent care and empathetic support during their most vulnerable times, particularly within the hospice setting.

• Active licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) in Washington State.
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.
• Strong familiarity with evidence-based counseling techniques and therapeutic models appropriate for a health care environment.
• Demonstrable ability to effectively communicate and build rapport with patients, families, and colleagues from varied professional disciplines.
• Capacity to manage a diverse caseload independently while responding flexibly to emerging patient needs.

• Experience working in a hospital, hospice, or palliative care setting is highly desired.
• Proven skills in crisis intervention and the ability to navigate complex emotional scenarios.
• Experience leading group therapy sessions and conducting workshops to enhance community well-being.
• Engagement in ongoing professional development, including training in new therapeutic approaches and emerging best practices.
