This position is entirely remote, utilizing telehealth platforms to conduct sessions with clients. • Conduct comprehensive initial evaluations and assessments of clients to determine individual needs and treatment plans.
• Engage in ongoing evaluation processes by collecting and synthesizing bio-psychosocial information from a variety of sources, including clients, families, referral agencies, and other professionals.
• Demonstrate professional practices that reflect the current standards of chemical dependency knowledge, skills, and attitudes, ensuring best practices are adhered to during therapy sessions.
• Implement evidence-based interventions tailored to the unique needs of each client, while maintaining a compassionate and judgment-free therapeutic setting.
• Utilize specialized knowledge of drug treatment modalities and facility resources to guide clients toward recovery.
• Maintain up-to-date records in compliance with ethical guidelines and confidentiality standards, ensuring that client information is protected at all times.

In this role, you will work with a diverse clientele, including adults and adolescents struggling with substance abuse and related mental health issues. Our client population reflects a wide range of backgrounds and experiences, providing you with the opportunity to apply culturally competent approaches to therapy.

• A Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a closely related field is required.
• Active licensure in the state of Washington as an LMHC, LICSW, or LMFT is mandatory.
• A minimum of two years of direct therapeutic experience in a mental health or substance abuse setting, demonstrating effective counseling skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, allowing for effective interaction with clients, families, and team members.
• Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in all interactions and documentation.
• Requirements to be drug-free, with no misuse of alcohol or drugs during employment as a therapist.

• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and electronic health record systems.
• Experience working with a variety of therapeutic approaches tailored to meet the needs of clients in a remote setting.
• Demonstrated understanding of community resources and referral services for clients seeking additional support.
