Lifetime Psychotherapy Center is looking for a dedicated and experienced Mental Health Therapist to join our compassionate team in providing specialized mental health care to individuals affected by trauma. • Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments, exploring patients' trauma histories to identify effective treatment strategies.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery and resilience, utilizing evidence-based therapies.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, employing techniques such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to help clients process their experiences.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary professionals to ensure integrated care solutions align with each patient's needs.
• Provide critical crisis intervention support, guiding clients through trauma-related emergencies.
• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses, coping strategies, and available resources, empowering them on their recovery journey.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring accurate patient records.
• Engage in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development focused on advanced trauma-informed practices.
• Stay informed on the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy to enhance treatment effectiveness.

Your primary focus will be on individuals coping with the aftermath of traumatic experiences. Our clients may be dealing with a range of complex issues, including PTSD, anxiety, depression, and interpersonal challenges resulting from their trauma. You will play a critical role in helping them navigate their healing journeys through structured therapy and support.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.
• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders, treatment modalities, and resilience-building techniques.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrated through a compassionate and non-judgmental therapeutic approach.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and technological applications related to telehealth.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care.

• At least two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health counseling setting, preferably with trauma-focused therapies.
• Experience in delivering group therapies and facilitating community support programs is a plus.
• A strong understanding of trauma-informed care practices and the ability to remain composed in high-stress situations.
