Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to determine the history and specific needs of your clients, utilizing structured evaluation tools.
  • Create tailored treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
  • Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, aiding clients in processing traumatic experiences, building coping skills, and promoting psychological resilience.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists and other professionals within a multidisciplinary team, ensuring a holistic approach to client care.
  • Provide timely crisis intervention services during trauma-related emergencies, equipped with the necessary skills to stabilize clients in distress.
  • Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available resources, empowering them to navigate their healing journey.
  • Maintain confidential and accurate documentation, adhering to legal and ethical standards, while utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development by participating in case consultations, team meetings, and staying updated on contemporary trauma therapy research and best practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be individuals affected by trauma, including those experiencing PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Our diverse client base includes children, adolescents, and adults, all of whom rely on your expertise to guide them through challenging times. By practicing trauma-informed care, your goal will be to foster resilience and healing among your clients, enabling them to lead fulfilling lives.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s or Doctorate degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Possession of a current and valid state license as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or PsyD.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of trauma-related disorders and informed therapy practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong capacity for empathy and active listening.
  • The ability to maintain professionalism and composure in high-pressure situations.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, specifically with trauma-focused therapy.
  • Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and interventions aimed at trauma recovery.
  • Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record systems for documentation and client management.
Compensation and Benefits
