Summer Spring Psychotherapy Center is actively seeking a passionate and dedicated Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our dynamic team in a full-time remote telehealth setting. • Conduct thorough assessments and develop personalized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client.
• Hold consultations to create effective pre-crisis and crisis intervention plans, complete with risk assessments and behavioral guidelines.
• Document client progress and treatment procedures in compliance with regulatory standards, ensuring timely and accurate records.
• Utilize evidence-based screening tools as directed by the clinical team to facilitate informed decisions and improve therapeutic outcomes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement positive behavior support plans tailored to client needs.
• Actively engage in the licensing and accreditation processes to maintain and enhance the credibility of our services.

You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse clientele, including individuals experiencing mental health issues, those in recovery from substance use disorders, and clients with varying developmental challenges. Your role will entail creating a safe and supportive atmosphere that encourages clients to express themselves freely, ensuring they feel valued and understood as they navigate their journeys toward wellness.

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or a related field.
• Completion of a full-time clinical internship in a mental health or counseling setting, equipping you with hands-on experience.
• License eligibility by the State of Massachusetts is required, ensuring compliance with all local regulations.
• A valid driver’s license in good standing may be required for certain telehealth outreach initiatives.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to quickly establish rapport and trust with clients.
• Proficiency in active listening, allowing for empathy while providing guidance and support throughout the therapeutic process.
• Strong organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail, especially in documentation and treatment planning.

• Previous experience working in a telehealth setting is a plus, enhancing your adaptability to this flexible work environment.
