Summer Spring Psychotherapy Center is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our dynamic team. We offer a competitive salary range of USD 70,000–100,000 annually, along with a sign-on bonus for new hires.

The position is structured to allow counselors to work remotely, with an emphasis on outpatient care. • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify client needs and develop tailored treatment plans that address emotional, behavioral, and mental health issues.
• Implement crisis intervention strategies, including pre-crisis planning, behavioral guidelines, and positive behavior support plans, ensuring client safety and well-being.
• Maintain up-to-date, accurate, and timely documentation in accordance with regulatory standards, while utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for data management.
• Employ evidence-based screening tools to inform treatment strategies and monitor client progress, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to refine care plans.
• Participate actively in all aspects of licensing and accreditation processes to uphold the quality and integrity of our services.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Summer Spring Psychotherapy Center, you will work with a diverse client base, including individuals facing challenges related to emotional distress, substance use disorders, developmental disabilities, and more. Your expertise will guide clients toward recovery and enhanced quality of life, focusing on personal growth and community integration.

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or a related field.
• Completion of a full-time clinical internship in a mental health setting, providing real-world experience and application of theoretical knowledge.
• Eligibility for licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Massachusetts.
• A valid driver’s license in good standing.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, necessary for building trust and rapport quickly with clients.
• Strong empathetic listening abilities, allowing for supportive, goal-oriented guidance tailored to client needs.
• Meticulous attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management capabilities to ensure effective care delivery.

• Prior experience working with diverse populations and a focus on trauma-informed care.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Experience collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to improve client outcomes.
