Help Wellness Counseling Services, PLLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic team. This role is fully remote, allowing you the flexibility to provide essential support from the comfort of your own workspace. You will engage primarily through video sessions, using a secure telehealth platform that adheres to all HIPAA regulations, ensuring client confidentiality and data security. As you work with individuals in a detox center, you will encounter a diverse range of client backgrounds and experiences, allowing you to grow professionally while making a genuine difference in their lives.

• Conduct individual therapy sessions via video conferencing, delivering personalized mental health care tailored to each client's unique circumstances.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions, encouraging participation and fostering a supportive environment where clients can share their experiences and learn from each other.
• Develop, implement, and regularly update comprehensive treatment plans that are goal-oriented and client-focused, adhering to best practices in social work and mental health.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary team members including psychiatrists, nurses, and addiction specialists to create integrated treatment approaches.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client sessions in compliance with legal and organizational standards.
• Engage in ongoing assessment of client progress and adjust treatment strategies as necessary to optimize therapeutic outcomes.
• Serve as an advocate for clients, helping them access community resources and services that enhance their recovery journey.

You will work predominantly with individuals undergoing detoxification, who may be facing substance abuse challenges, trauma histories, or co-occurring mental health disorders. Your role is crucial in providing a safe, non-judgmental space that encourages healing and resilience. By employing evidence-based practices, you will support clients in building coping strategies and connecting with their inner strengths.

• A valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in New York State.
• A minimum of two (2) years of experience working in a clinical social work setting, particularly with clients facing addiction and mental health issues.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Proficient in using telehealth tools and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to adapt interventions based on client needs and progress.

• Experience working in detox centers or other addiction treatment settings.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), or Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).
• Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques and the ability to manage challenging behaviors effectively.
