As an LCSW at The Recovery Care Center, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive psychosocial assessments to evaluate patients' mental health status, identifying both strengths and areas for improvement.
• Providing individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy and dialectical behavior therapy.
• Collaborating with psychiatrists, nurses, and other professionals to ensure a holistic and coordinated approach to patient care.
• Engaging with patients and their families to educate them about mental health diagnoses, treatment options, and medication management.
• Developing tailored treatment plans in collaboration with the treatment team that reflect patients' goals and preferences.
• Advocating for patients within the mental health system, ensuring their rights and needs are met.
• Facilitating therapeutic groups and psychoeducation sessions to foster community engagement and support.
• Participating in discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions for patients returning to independent living.

The ideal candidate for this position will possess:

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
