You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals including psychiatrists, psychologists, and nurses, utilizing telehealth technologies to provide therapy sessions and engage with patients effectively. • Conduct thorough mental health assessments, utilizing standardized assessment tools and clinical interviews to determine the specific needs of each patient.
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy.
• Facilitate psychoeducational groups and support circles designed to foster community and connectedness among patients experiencing similar mental health concerns.
• Coordinate effectively with psychiatrists and other clinicians to ensure an integrated approach to patient care that encompasses medication management and therapeutic interventions.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention during mental health emergencies, employing de-escalation techniques and safety planning as necessary.
• Educate patients about their mental health conditions and available treatment options, helping them to navigate community resources and support systems.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential patient records in adherence to all legal and ethical standards through electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Commit to continuous professional development by participating in training sessions, workshops, and relevant research activities.

The patient population you will be working with varies widely, including adolescents, adults, and families coping with diverse mental health challenges. Your ability to develop rapport and trust with clients will be crucial in helping them achieve their therapy goals and improve their overall mental wellness. • A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a closely related field from an accredited institution is required.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist (LCMFT), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker-C (LCSW-C) in the state of Maryland.
• Demonstrated understanding of mental health disorders and effective therapeutic modalities.
• Proficiency in conducting mental health assessments and developing evidence-based treatment strategies tailored to individual patient needs.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to engage and inspire patients from diverse backgrounds.
• Commitment to upholding ethical standards and professional boundaries in the therapeutic relationship.
• Familiarity with EHR systems and basic computer applications necessary for documentation and communication.
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to thrive within a multidisciplinary team framework.

• Experience in delivering therapeutic services within an outpatient setting, particularly with varied populations experiencing both acute and chronic mental health conditions.
• Skill in facilitating group therapy and psychoeducational sessions effectively.
• Previous engagement in professional development activities, such as workshops or conferences, that enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
