This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse clientele and make a meaningful impact on the mental well-being of individuals, couples, and families.

About the Organization

At Calm Soul Mental Health Counseling P.C., we specialize in providing evidence-based therapy and mental health services to those in need. Located in Waco, Texas, our center serves a broad range of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, trauma, and other related issues. We are committed to making high-quality mental healthcare accessible to all individuals, irrespective of background or circumstances, and to fostering an environment that emphasizes healing, personal growth, and resilience.

Work Environment

This position will be primarily remote, allowing for flexibility in your work schedule while engaging with clients through secure virtual platforms. While a part of a vibrant team, our therapists work independently to create supportive relationships and therapeutic alliances with clients from the comfort of their own locations. Expect a collaborative culture where communication is key, fostering teamwork through regular meetings and online consultations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to evaluate clients' mental health challenges, strengths, and resource availability.
  • Facilitate individual, couple, family, and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that set clear goals, objectives, and interventions tailored to the specific needs of each client.
  • Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated and coordinated care.
  • Provide crisis intervention when necessary, ensuring appropriate risk assessments, safety plans, and emergency responses are in place.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in line with ethical and legal requirements, ensuring timely and thorough record-keeping.
  • Lead and manage group therapy sessions, educational workshops, and support groups to enhance clients' therapeutic experiences.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clientele comprises individuals, couples, and families facing various mental health challenges. We focus on creating a safe and supportive therapeutic environment that caters to the unique needs of each client. This includes providing interventions for those experiencing relationship difficulties, anxiety disorders, trauma recovery, and more. As an LMFT, you will play a crucial role in guiding clients through their healing journeys and empowering them to regain control of their emotional lives.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited program is mandatory.
  • Current and active state licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and assessment skills are essential for effectively establishing rapport with clients.
Preferred Experience
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a clinical mental health or outpatient setting is strongly preferred.
  • Profound knowledge of various evidence-based therapeutic modalities and treatment approaches relevant to family and relationship dynamics.
Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000, complemented by performance-based bonuses. We believe in rewarding our employees for their hard work and dedication. Our benefits package includes:

  • Comprehensive health insurance solutions, encompassing medical, dental, and vision coverage.
  • Retirement plans with employer matching to help you secure your financial future.
  • Generous paid time off policies, including vacation days, personal leave, and recognized holidays.
  • Access to continuing education and training programs to support your professional growth and enhance your therapeutic skills.
  • Professional insurance coverage to safeguard your practice.
Career Growth Opportunities

We are committed to fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to attend workshops, gain additional certifications, and participate in mentorship programs that support your career trajectory. We encourage our therapists to embrace leadership roles, broaden their practice through specialized areas, and contribute to population health initiatives.
