All Jobs > Senior Product Manager, Data (US)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Data Product Manager to lead our organization's transition from a centralized analytics paradigm and legacy data warehouse to a federated Data Mesh architecture.

This role blends strategy, design, and execution. You'll partner closely with engineering, analytics, and business leaders to define the roadmap, prioritize investments, and deliver data products that are not only technically sound but deeply impactful. You'll be the champion of data activation—ensuring that insights are accessible, actionable, and aligned to our company's values and goals.

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with executives, sponsors, analyst teams, and engineering teams to create incredible data products on time, aligned with strategic vision, and business needs.
  • Communicate data product and user experience definitions, enabling analytics and engineering teams to hit the ground running on new data product and feature development
  • Own the strategic vision for the data platform, prioritizing investments that create durable, scalable capabilities that enable distributed domain ownership of data products
  • Develop strategies to support specification, rapid prototyping, release management, and quality assurance for data products
  • Facilitate the resolution of conflicts between domains regarding bounded concepts or metric definitions.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in Product Management (preferably in a SaaS environment)
  • Strong understanding of modern data architecture and tooling, including cloud data lakehouses (Databricks preferred), transformation platforms (dbt preferred), and pipeline tools (e.g. FiveTran, Airbyte)
  • Proven track record of planning and driving complex initiatives with a company-wide or multiple-department impact
  • Proven track record of balancing business expertise and product domain knowledge with technical understanding
  • Proven ability to evaluate complex, interdependent technologies and make clear, analytical recommendations
  • Deep expertise in Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles and bounded contexts
  • Demonstrated ability to write clear and concise product requirements that capture the vision, goals, and key elements of new products and features
  • Outstanding leadership, time management, and organizational skills
Preferred Experience
  • Experience with distributed data architecture across multiple cloud environments
  • Experience transitioning an organization from a centralized analytics model to a federated/distributed data mesh model
  • Experience defining and tracking product adoption metrics and user satisfaction
  • Familiarity with governance-as-code practices, enabling decentralized teams to adhere to global standards through platform automation
  • Competitive medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Company-paid basic life, long-term, and short-term disability
  • Flexible paid time off
  • 10 company-paid holidays per year
  • 4 weeks' paid sabbatical after 10 years of service with an additional stipend
  • Paid maternity and paternity leave policy
  • Health Savings Account and Flexible Spending Account options
  • 401(k) plan (Includes an employer match of up to 4%)
  • Awards and recognition program
