Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct individual counseling sessions via video conferencing to assess and enhance clients' mental health.
  • Encourage open dialogue with clients regarding their emotions and experiences, fostering deeper self-insight and understanding.
  • Act as a dedicated advocate for clients, assisting them in defining realistic and achievable therapeutic goals.
  • Evaluate clientsโ€™ mental health conditions and develop personalized treatment plans that draw from evidence-based practices and your clinical experience.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation of client interactions and progress in our secure electronic health record system.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to remain current with best practices in mental health counseling.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with a carefully screened clientele, comprising stable adults who exhibit low acuity mental health needs. This ensures that counselors can provide focused, effective care without the complexities associated with high-acuity cases. Moreover, you will be matched with clients whose backgrounds and therapeutic needs align with your clinical specialties and demographic preferences, enhancing the therapeutic relationship and promoting better outcomes.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.
  • Must possess full licensure to practice independently as a:
    • Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
    • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
    • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
  • No limited or provisional licenses, and no record of disciplinary actions.
  • Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, empathetic demeanor.
  • Proficiency in the use of computer systems and digital platforms for client engagement and documentation.
Preferred Experience

Ideal candidates will have experience working with diverse populations in an outpatient setting. Familiarity with teletherapy platforms is an asset, as is a strong foundation in developing solution-focused treatment plans. Experience in self-care practices and the ability to manage a remote counseling caseload effectively are highly valuable.

Compensation and Benefits
  • Annual salary in the range of USD 115,000 to 130,000, commensurate with experience and hours worked.
