Position Overview

Polaris Psychotherapy Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our dynamic team. Work Environment

This role is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility in balancing work and personal commitments. The full-time schedule is Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, offering a structured work rhythm while promoting a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of clients, establishing rapport and building positive, trusting relationships while adhering to professional ethical standards and boundaries.
  • Conduct regular client sessions to evaluate progress towards therapeutic goals, ensuring stability and appropriateness of continued care or discharge.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor personalized treatment plans, tailoring strategies to meet the unique needs of each client.
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate documentation, including progress notes and treatment updates, adhering to legal and ethical requirements.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our LPC will work with a diverse array of clients facing various mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress-related disorders. You will provide individualized therapy services to children, adults, and families, ensuring that all clients feel valued and supported while navigating their mental health journeys. Your compassionate and professional approach will be essential in fostering a safe environment for clients to open up about their struggles and work towards healing.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in mental health counseling or a related field is required.
  • Current and unrestricted Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) status in Connecticut.
  • At least one year of clinical experience in an outpatient setting following graduation.
  • Proficiency in utilizing technology, including experience with Excel, RMS systems, and Outlook to maintain efficient documentation and communication.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience delivering direct psychotherapy services to individuals and families, particularly within an outpatient mental health setting.
  • Comfort in engaging with a variety of therapeutic modalities to best serve client needs.
  • Knowledge of community resources and the ability to make appropriate referrals.
Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 75,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
