Job description

Position Overview

Resilience Psychiatry Solutions is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist with expertise in social work, psychology, marriage and family therapy, or counseling. This full-time position offers the flexibility of a remote work environment while allowing you to provide essential support to patients in need. You will play a crucial role in assessing and addressing the biopsychosocial needs of our diverse patient population, ultimately enhancing their mental health and well-being.

About the Organization

At Resilience Psychiatry Solutions, we are committed to improving the mental health landscape for individuals, families, and communities. Our organization operates as a community health clinic in Fontana, California, focusing on providing high-quality, accessible mental health services to some of the most vulnerable populations. We believe in the power of resilience and are dedicated to empowering our clients through compassionate care, systemic support, and community-oriented resources.

Work Environment

This position is designed for remote work, allowing you to perform your duties from the comfort of your home while maintaining a positive work-life balance. Our organization leverages modern telehealth tools and technology to facilitate effective communication and patient management. As part of a supportive virtual team, you will have access to ongoing training, professional development, and collaborative resources.

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of patients' psychosocial needs to develop personalized treatment plans that may include case management, short-term counseling, and crisis intervention.
  • Facilitating the completion of entitlement forms, applications for supplemental insurance, and other benefits to help patients gain access to essential resources while decreasing their reliance on emergency assistance programs.
  • Guiding patients in obtaining prescription cost assistance through pharmaceutical company programs and local community resources, ensuring they receive necessary medications.
  • Advocating for patients by effectively navigating interactions with community agencies, ensuring their voices are heard and needs are met.
  • Maintaining meticulous and up-to-date patient records, preparing detailed reports, documentation, and correspondence as required.
  • Coordinating transportation assistance for patients when necessary, ensuring they can access therapy and relevant appointments.
  • Participating actively in clinical and team meetings to discuss case conferences, share insights, and foster a team-oriented approach to care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will focus on a varied patient population, including individuals facing mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and other psychological conditions. You will work with patients from different socio-economic backgrounds, emphasizing cultural competency and sensitivity in your therapeutic approach.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position will possess:

  • A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Counseling.
  • An active and independent license, such as Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • At least two years of professional experience in a mental health counseling role, demonstrating proficiency in direct patient care and familiarity with case management practices.
Preferred Experience

While the minimum qualifications are crucial, preference will be given to candidates who have experience in community health settings, have worked with diverse populations, or are familiar with telehealth practices. Experience in crisis intervention and advocacy is a significant plus.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition to salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:

  • Dental insurance to support your oral health.
  • Flexible scheduling options that empower a balance between work and personal life.
  • Health insurance plans that cater to your physical and mental well-being.
  • Vision insurance for your healthcare needs.
Career Growth Opportunities

Resilience Psychiatry Solutions is committed to your professional development. You will have access to continuous training, mentorship programs, and opportunities for advancement within our organization. We encourage our team members to expand their skills and expertise, fostering a culture of learning and growth.

Why Join Our Team

If you are passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals struggling with mental health issues, Resilience Psychiatry Solutions offers you the platform to do just that. Join our dedicated team of professionals who are united by a common purpose: to promote resilience and empower our patients with the tools they need to thrive.
