Peace Marriage and Family Therapy Services is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) for a full-time remote position. In this role, you will provide essential therapy services to individuals and families dealing with substance abuse and co-occurring mental health disorders, while emphasizing relational dynamics within marriages and families. Key Responsibilities
  • Counsel clients facing emotional and behavioral challenges by conducting thorough assessments and implementing effective strategies for crisis intervention.
  • Provide a spectrum of therapy services, including individual, family, and group therapy, ensuring that each client's unique needs are met.
  • Conduct initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize therapeutic outcomes.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients and the multidisciplinary team.
  • Actively participate in weekly team case reviews to contribute insights and strategies that enhance the overall treatment approach for clients.
  • Maintain detailed and confidential records of client interactions, treatment sessions, and progress notes in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will focus on a diverse population of individuals, couples, and families, many of whom are struggling with substance misuse and underlying mental health issues. You will address complex dynamics that affect relational and familial stability, supporting clients through trauma-informed care and evidence-based therapeutic practices. Your expertise in navigating these challenges will help clients reconnect and heal within their relationships.

Qualifications
  • Education: Masterโ€™s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or related field.
  • Licensure: Active Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in providing therapy services, specifically focusing on marriage and family dynamics.
  • Skills: Strong capabilities in psychosocial assessment, crisis intervention, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
  • Knowledge: Profound understanding of individual and family development through various life stages, and an ability to integrate this understanding into therapeutic practices.
Preferred Experience
