About the Opening

Location: Daytona Beach, FL
Work Environment: Remote / Telehealth
Position Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $115,000-$120,000 per year with full benefits
Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM

Job Summary

A full-time remote opportunity is available for a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who enjoys providing one-on-one therapy and helping clients work through real-life challenges. You will deliver counseling through a secure online platform and support clients as they navigate emotional health, stress, personal relationships, grief, trauma, and major transitions.

Responsibilities

  • Meet with clients virtually for therapy sessions
  • Complete new client assessments and clinical screenings
  • Build treatment plans that reflect client concerns and goals
  • Provide counseling using evidence-informed methods
  • Support clients in developing healthier coping strategies
  • Complete session notes, progress updates, and related documentation
  • Follow all confidentiality and HIPAA requirements
  • Maintain ethical standards for remote mental health care
  • Coordinate referrals or higher-level support when clinically needed

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Counseling, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or related field
  • Active LMHC license in Florida
  • Experience providing therapy in a clinical, outpatient, private practice, or telehealth setting
  • Strong understanding of clinical documentation and treatment planning
  • Comfortable working with clients through video-based care
  • Ability to manage a caseload independently
  • Reliable internet connection and a private workspace
