Florida LMHC Telehealth Counselor Full-Time Remote Therapy Position
Role Overview
Location: Florida
Setting: Remote / Telehealth
Employment Type: Full-Time
Pay Range: $115,000-$120,000 per year with full benefits
Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM
Job Summary
This Licensed Mental Health Counselor role centers on providing consistent, high-quality virtual counseling to clients who need support with mental health concerns, emotional stress, personal challenges, and day-to-day coping skills.
As a remote LMHC, your work will include conducting sessions by video, helping clients identify patterns, building practical treatment goals, documenting clinical care, and offering steady therapeutic support over time. The role is a strong fit for a counselor who values organized clinical work, thoughtful client interaction, and the flexibility of telehealth.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct scheduled virtual counseling sessions with clients in Florida
  • Complete clinical assessments and identify appropriate treatment needs
  • Develop clear, client-centered treatment plans
  • Provide therapy for common mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, grief, stress, trauma, and adjustment issues
  • Track progress through regular clinical review and documentation
  • Keep session notes accurate, current, and compliant with professional standards
  • Recognize risk factors and take proper action when safety concerns arise
  • Maintain client privacy and confidentiality in all remote interactions
  • Participate in required clinical or administrative communication as needed

Requirements
  • Active and unrestricted Florida LMHC license in good standing
  • Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
  • Experience providing therapy to adults, adolescents, couples, or families preferred
  • Comfortable using telehealth platforms and electronic health records
  • Strong clinical judgment, documentation skills, and professional communication
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting
  • Reliable internet connection and a private workspace for client sessions
