Work Environment

This position offers a fully remote work environment, allowing you to connect with clients in the comfort of your own space. You will be part of a collaborative community health clinic atmosphere that encourages professional growth, mentorship, and team support. Our operational hours are Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, enabling work-life balance while you make a difference in the lives of others.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health status through interviews and standardized assessment tools.

  • Facilitate regular therapy sessions, utilizing individual and group therapy methods to provide clients with coping strategies and emotional support.

  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

  • Engage in continuous professional development by participating in training and supervision, staying current with best practices in mental health therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on a diverse client base, encompassing individuals facing a variety of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Knowledge of culturally responsive therapy will be essential to ensure accessibility and relevance for clients from various backgrounds, thus enhancing their therapeutic experience and outcomes.

Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

  • A valid and active license within the state as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW.

  • A minimum of two years of related experience in mental health counseling, encompassing various therapeutic modalities and populations.

  • Strong understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based approaches to treatment, with an emphasis on cultural competence.

  • Demonstrated experience in delivering effective individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing inclusive practices that promote mental health equity.

Preferred Experience
  • Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarization with necessary computer applications to streamline documentation and communication.

  • Excellent crisis intervention skills, with the ability to remain composed and effective in high-stress situations.

  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrated ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds and experiences.

  • A commitment to maintaining ethical standards, professional boundaries, and patient confidentiality.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000, reflecting your expertise and commitment to mental health care. In addition, you will receive a sign-on bonus of up to $1,000, reinforcing our desire to bring top talent to our team.
