Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ mental health status using standardized evaluations and clinical interviews.
  • Collaboratively develop individualized therapy plans that address clients’ specific needs, integrating evidence-based practices.
  • Facilitate regular therapy sessions, utilizing both individual and group therapy techniques to foster growth and healing.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support to clients experiencing acute distress and refer to other healthcare providers when appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client interactions, treatment progress, and any modifications to therapy plans using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to align treatment strategies and share insights about client progress.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will engage with a diverse population of clients facing a range of mental health disorders, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and substance use issues. Our client-centered approach prioritizes cultural competence, ensuring that therapy is responsive and sensitive to the individual backgrounds of each client. Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in California is required.
  • A minimum of two years of related experience in mental health counseling, preferably in a clinical or outpatient setting.
  • Proficient understanding of mental health disorders and diverse evidence-based treatment methodologies.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, enabling effective communication and rapport-building with clients and colleagues alike.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record systems and the ability to document efficiently.
  • A commitment to ethical practice, maintaining confidentiality, and supporting clients in a non-judgmental environment.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience delivering culturally responsive therapy in both individual and group formats.
  • Demonstrated ability to employ crisis intervention techniques and manage challenging situations calmly and effectively.
  • Experience collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to enhance client care.
Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 per year, reflecting your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a sign-on bonus of up to $1,000 upon successful onboarding. Our benefits package includes:
