Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement personalized treatment plans that cater to the unique needs of each client, ensuring a tailored approach to therapy.
  • Conduct individual, family, and group therapy sessions using evidence-based methods, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including social workers, psychiatrists, and other healthcare providers, to enhance client-centered care.
  • Maintain precise and confidential documentation of client interactions in accordance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development by attending workshops, seminars, and training sessions to stay current with emerging trends in mental health care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will serve a diverse clientele, including individuals suffering from anxiety, depression, PTSD, and other mental health disorders. Your ability to provide culturally competent care will be essential in building trust and rapport with clients from varied backgrounds. A significant focus will be on trauma-informed care, especially for clients who have experienced significant life challenges.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelorโ€™s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field is required.
  • An active state license (LMHC, LCSW, or LMFT) is essential for this position.
  • A minimum of two years of clinical counseling experience, demonstrating a trajectory of professional growth and a depth of knowledge in mental health practices.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to engage clients in meaningful dialogue.
  • Knowledge of ethical and legal frameworks governing mental health care.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience or specialization in areas such as trauma recovery, substance use disorders, or family and couples counseling.
  • Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote therapeutic techniques to adapt to a digital care environment.
  • Engagement in professional networks and continuing education related to innovative counseling techniques.
