Job description

The Doctor of Health Science (DHSc) program seeks a dynamic and collaborative faculty member with demonstrated excellence in online graduate education, scholarship, and doctoral-level mentoring. The successful candidate will be an experienced educator and scholar with a strong record of teaching, peer-reviewed publications, and engagement in the healthcare field.
This full-time, 12-month remote faculty position includes primary responsibilities in teaching, doctoral research supervision, student advising, and participation in program and institutional initiatives. The faculty member will be academically and experientially qualified to teach across the DHSc curriculum and to mentor students in both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies. The role requires the ability to design and deliver high-quality online instruction, engage students in meaningful learning experiences, and support the development and completion of doctoral research projects.

In collaboration with program faculty and leadership, the individual will contribute to curriculum development, course revision, and ongoing program assessment. Additional expectations include maintaining an active program of scholarship, participating in faculty governance and university service, and supporting admissions and student engagement activities as needed. The position is a non-tenure, full-time remote faculty position with occasional travel to campus for required university activities, such as, but not limited to, university graduation and faculty development sessions.
The DHSc program is housed within the School of Health and Natural Sciences, which includes a range of undergraduate and graduate programs preparing professionals and leaders in healthcare and natural sciences. The selected candidate will join a collaborative academic community committed to innovation, student success, and excellence in teaching and learning.
