Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to evaluate clientsโ€™ mental health concerns, personal strengths, and therapeutic needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that are informed by both assessment findings and the clientโ€™s personal goals.
  • Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy.
  • Regularly monitor and document clientsโ€™ progress throughout therapy sessions, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals including psychiatrists, primary care physicians, and case managers to coordinate and provide comprehensive care for clients.
  • Advocate for clients' rights to ensure access to appropriate mental health services and relevant community resources.
  • Uphold confidentiality and adhere to ethical practices as per regulations set out by state licensing boards and relevant professional organizations.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The clientele served by Easy Psychotherapy includes individuals facing a variety of challenges, such as mood disorders, anxiety, relationship issues, and personal crises. As an LMFT, you will work with a diverse client base, including children, adolescents, adults, and families, tailoring your approach to meet the unique needs of each individual or group. Qualifications
  • A Master's or doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
  • Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of New York.
  • A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience, specializing in mood disorders.
