• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health concerns, personal strengths, and therapeutic needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that are informed by both assessment findings and the client’s personal goals.
• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy.
• Regularly monitor and document clients’ progress throughout therapy sessions, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals including psychiatrists, primary care physicians, and case managers to coordinate and provide comprehensive care for clients.
• Advocate for clients' rights to ensure access to appropriate mental health services and relevant community resources.

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of New York.
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience, specializing in mood disorders.
• Proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities including CBT and DBT, with a strong focus on evidenced outcomes.

• A proven track record of delivering successful therapeutic outcomes for clients managing mood disorders.
