Job description

We are currently hiring an Architectural Technician in our Architectural division at our Rochester office.

The Architectural Division at LaBella provides comprehensive planning and design within dedicated studios with projects ranging from targeted renovations and facility maintenance to projects that define communities. We believe architecture is more than creating, maintaining, and resurrecting the buildings in which we live, work, learn, and engage - it's about beautifying and bettering the communities we call home.

The overall expectations of this position are to produce construction drawings and understand basic construction practices for implementation during construction administration. Additionally, this position will be expected to produce presentation graphics, conceptual 3d models, and be capable of drafting redlines and creating outline floor plans in an efficient manner. Basic construction administration will be performed. It must be understood that assignments and hence supervision will differ from time to time.

A successful candidate will be self- motivated with the willingness to learn, train, and continue building their architectural knowledge. The candidate will be trustworthy and punctual have a positive attitude and possess leadership and communication skills.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience working for an Architectural/Engineering Consultant.
  • Minimum associates degree (Bachelor's degree in Architecture desirable).
  • Proficient in Revit.
  • Must have good planning skills.
  • Experience in Adobe and other visualization software.

Salary Range: $45,000 - $65,000
