Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough intake assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health concerns, strengths, and needs, utilizing structured interviews and standardized assessment tools.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, ensuring alignment with clients' personal goals and therapeutic needs.
  • Provide engaging individual, group, and family therapy sessions, employing evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy.
  • Regularly monitor and document clients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal therapeutic outcomes.
  • Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, case managers, and primary care physicians, to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.
  • Advocate for clients’ rights and navigate them through available mental health services and community resources, ensuring access to appropriate support.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere strictly to ethical standards of practice, as outlined by state licensing boards and professional organizations.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Easy Psychotherapy, you will work with a diverse clientele experiencing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and mood disorders. Our clients range from individuals seeking personal growth to families looking to improve their relational dynamics. Qualifications
  • A master's or doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • A current and valid license as a LMFT in the state of New York.

  • Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities tailored to mood disorders, including but not limited to CBT and DBT.

  • A proven track record of delivering successful therapeutic outcomes for clients dealing with mood disorders.
