This position is entirely remote, allowing for a flexible work-life balance while maintaining high standards of client care. Therapists at Easy Psychotherapy operate within an outpatient office model but utilize teletherapy to reach clients regardless of their location. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough intake assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health concerns, strengths, and needs, utilizing structured interviews and standardized assessment tools.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, ensuring alignment with clients' personal goals and therapeutic needs.
• Provide engaging individual, group, and family therapy sessions, employing evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy.
• Regularly monitor and document clients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal therapeutic outcomes.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, case managers, and primary care physicians, to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.
• Advocate for clients’ rights and navigate them through available mental health services and community resources, ensuring access to appropriate support.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere strictly to ethical standards of practice, as outlined by state licensing boards and professional organizations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Easy Psychotherapy, you will work with a diverse clientele experiencing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and mood disorders. Our clients range from individuals seeking personal growth to families looking to improve their relational dynamics. Your role will be pivotal in providing support and guidance as they navigate these challenges, ensuring they feel understood and empowered throughout their therapeutic journey.

Qualifications

• A master's or doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid license as a LMFT in the state of New York.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience, with a focus on mood disorders preferred.
• Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities tailored to mood disorders, including but not limited to CBT and DBT.
• A strong understanding of psychopharmacology coupled with the ability to effectively collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers.
• A proven track record of delivering successful therapeutic outcomes for clients dealing with mood disorders.
