The anticipated pay range for this position is $23-$26 hourly with final compensation based on experience, skills, education, and location.Summary:

Owens & Minor is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accounts Payable Associate to join our Finance team. In this role, you will support a wide range of Accounts Payable and accounting functions while partnering with suppliers and internal teams to resolve discrepancies, improve processes, and ensure timely and accurate financial operations.

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze supplier data using multiple software applications to identify and resolve statement and unvouchered receipt issues.

  • Partner with suppliers, Supply Chain Management, and Distribution Centers to monitor, document, resolve, and escalate account discrepancies.

  • Lead conference calls and collaborate with supplier partners to resolve issues and drive continuous process improvements.

  • Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies in a timely and fiscally responsible manner to support Accounts Payable performance goals.

  • Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports to reconcile accounts and communicate potential financial exposure to leadership.

  • Maintain accurate documentation while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

  • Prioritize multiple tasks and work independently in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.

Requirements:
  • Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred, but not required.

  • Two or more years of Accounts Payable or related accounting experience, including issue resolution, preferred.

  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
