What You’ll Do


Reporting to the Department Supervisor, the Production Worker is accountable for continuous product throughput, will inform management of the results from the production unit’s operations, pointing out problem areas and advising on the best solutions. 

  • Work closely with other operators in production unit
  • Perform various packaging, cleaning, sampling, and material transfer tasks
  • Strive for zero defect and optimum unit throughput
  • Coordinates with Supervisor to meet departmental budget

 

What You’ll Need


To be successful in this position, you must:

  • Have a strong commitment to safety
  • Be able to communicate well with other members of the team
  • Be able to work in a plant environment and be able to walk up and down stairs and ladders
  • Have the ability to troubleshoot
  • Be well organized, detail oriented, and have basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)
