What You'll Do:

  • Mastering the Pour: Safely operate hand-controlled ladles to pour and regulate the flow of molten metal into sand molds to produce castings.
  • Ensuring Quality: Skim slag and remove excess metal to guarantee a perfect casting.
  • Being the Muscle: Transport molten metal from the furnaces to the pouring line.
  • Monitoring Conditions: Accurately read temperature gauges and collect samples for analysis, playing a vital role in quality control.
