Looking for a career change or looking to get your career started? Affinity recruiting is looking to fill entry-level 1st shift manufacturing positions here in the Syracuse, NY location.
$15.50 - $17.25 per hour (depending on experience)
Full-Time positions, 40 hours a week, M-F schedule, 6am – 2:30pm!
The Job:
Transport molten metal in ladle from Melt Department to Pouring area
Pour molten metal from ladle to molds in various locations
Lift ladle by air hoist to and pour the metal
Use care to pour a proper rate and temperature
Maintain work area in a clean and orderly condition acceptable to safety standards
Furnace and ladle repair
Verify alloy specifications
Keep furnaces full
Safely and thoroughly clean furnace and ladles
Perform any and all other job related tasks as assigned
Ideal candidate:
Okay with routinely lifting 30-50lbs
Okay working in a hot and dirty environment.
Can be dependable to show up and do a great job!
Someone looking for a career and eager to learn!
