Join the excitement of a dynamic company committed to providing exceptional neurological rehabilitation to adults with brain injury! Learning Services, a Collage Rehabilitation Partner is a growing organization dedicated to excellence, honesty and ethics in the treatment of our clients and each other. For more than 40 years, we’ve developed programs to meet the diverse needs of clients with moderate to severe traumatic and acquired brain injuries. We provide treatment for post-concussion syndrome, stroke, memory loss, neurobehavioral issues and accident or sports-related head injuries.

Schedule: Monday- Friday

Pay Range: $34-$37/hr

We are searching for a Full-Time Recreational Therapist to work in our residential programs located in Lakewood, CO.  This full-time role assists in the development and implementation of a comprehensive recreational and cognitive rehab program, which includes both group and individual activities in the residence and the community.  This role oversees the individual recreational programs of assigned clients; provides cognitive rehab sessions;  completes initial assessments, monitors monthly progress, and prepares all necessary discharge plans in collaboration with the team.  The Recreational Therapist also provides minimum to maximum assistance and/or supervision to promote clients’ success in daily living tasks and vocational/volunteer pursuits, in addition to recreation activities. This role responsible for running the program's day program, evaluations, individual therapy, and team consultation. Be part of an experienced clinical team!


Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree in therapeutic recreation, or related field is required. A CTRS certification is required
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must have a valid driver's license and responsible driving behaviors must be maintained
  • Ability to lift 50lbs
