Richman Property Services, Inc. is seeking a full-time Property Manager to join our esteemed Signature team. If you're enthusiastic, community-driven, and team-oriented, we want you to join our growing family!


Position: Property Manager

Location: Aspire at Church Street. Our 85 unit residential Community. 645 Church Street, Norfolk, VA. 23510.

Key Qualifications:

  • LIHTC Experience Preferred
  • Yardi Experience

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the apartment community to achieve maximum marketing and financial results
  • Implement Company policies in leasing, accounting, maintenance, and resident relations
  • Supervise and motivate on-site personnel
  • Control budget objectives and expenditures
  • Perform market analysis and suggest competitive prices
  • Manage employee schedules, training, and performance evaluations
  • Coordinate resident services and activities
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, federal and state regulations, and safety standards
  • Direct community maintenance and improvement initiatives

Requirements:

  • Education:
    1. Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience; college coursework or training in Property Management preferred
  • Experience:
    1. 3-5 years of experience in the apartment industry with supervisory/management experience
    2. Prior experience managing mid to large-size communities preferred
    3. Prior experience with tax credit/affordable communities and experience using Yardi software preferred
    4. Detail-oriented with excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills
    5. Knowledge of Fair Housing and Equal Employment guidelines
  • Skills & Certifications:
    1. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and Property Management software (e.g., Yardi), strong communication, organizational, and analytical/problem-solving skills
    2. Registered Apartment or CAM Manager certification preferred
    3. Knowledge of Fair Employment Housing and EEO laws
    4. Valid Driver’s License required
    5. Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are a plus
    6. Tax Credit/Affordable (LIHTC) experience preferred
