Property Management Field Assistant (Full-Time)

Position: Property Management Field Assistant

Employment Type: Full-Time

Starting Pay:
$22.00 per hour, with opportunities for advancement based on performance and experience.

Schedule: Full-time, 5 days per week with flexible weekday hours. Saturday availability is required.

Start Date: As soon as possible

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable, organized, and self-motivated Property Management Field Assistant to support our growing property management team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, is comfortable managing their own schedule, loves driving and being on the go, has a very keen eye for detail with strong documentation skills, and takes pride in providing excellent service to both residents and prospective residents.

Responsibilities

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Conducting and documenting thorough inspections of occupied and vacant rental homes utilizing Zinspector inspection software.
  • Performing virtual and in-person showings of occupied and vacant rental properties.
  • Placing and retrieving yard signs and lockboxes at rental properties.
  • Delivering and posting notices to residents, including but not limited to:
    • Lease renewal and lease term notices
    • Delinquency notices
    • Lease violation notices
  • Delivering and picking up items at rental properties, including but not limited to:
    • Portable air conditioners
    • Space heaters
    • Microwaves
    • Mini refrigerators
    • Other property management supplies and equipment
  • Transporting yard signs, lockboxes, portable appliances, and company materials between properties as needed.
  • Documenting property conditions with photos and written reports.
  • Coordinating with the property management office regarding field activities.
  • Maintaining professionalism when interacting with residents, vendors, and prospective tenants.
  • Completing assigned field tasks accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Assisting with additional field operations and property management tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Reliable personal vehicle with adequate space to transport yard signs, lockboxes, portable appliances, and other work-related equipment as needed.
  • Proof of current automobile insurance.
  • Ability to travel throughout Larimer and Weld County during the workday.
  • Must be able to safely lift, carry, and maneuver items weighing up to 85 pounds.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Comfortable using a smartphone and mobile apps for photos, communication, and reporting.
  • Experience with AppFolio, Zinspector, and is preferred, but not required.
  • Google Suite Experience Required (Gmail and Google Calendar Specifically)
  • Experience with Google Map Routing Required
  • Previous property management, real estate, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
