Job description

Registered Behavior Technician/ RBT

Intro:

Propel Autism is looking for fun, engaging RBT's who are excited about making a difference in the lives of children with Autism. If you are a Registered Behavior Technician looking for a company committed to providing you with supportive, in person supervision from BCBA's who are invested in your growth and development, we'd love to hear from you!

As a Center-based RBT you will:

  • Provide one on one therapy focused on skill acquisition to a child in the Propel clinic
  • Accompany your client throughout their day, capturing and contriving learning opportunities in the natural environment.
  • Collaboratively scaffold your client's social interactions with their peers and their participation in group activities in the clinic.
  • Prioritize pairing daily, using play and engagement to build a strong relationship with your client
  • Keep your client's dignity and assent at the forefront of all interactions
  • Take accurate data and write detailed session notes that are submitted same day as services being delivered.

  • Twice-Yearly Compensation Reviews. Performance-based compensation reviews every six months, so strong RBT's have the opportunity to earn pay increases faster.
  • RBT Bonus We're increasing the weekly RBT bonus to $30/week ($60 per payroll cycle). On a typical 35-hour schedule, that's equivalent to about +$0.87/hour in additional compensation.

You will need:

  • An RBT certification through the BACB (bacb.com)
  • A high school diploma at minimum, Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Must pass Propel administered background check
  • Must have an active driver's license and proof of auto insurance
