This position will be based full-time on-site in Linthicum, MD near the Baltimore area.

The Policies Procedures Analyst will develop and maintain Mission Systems sector procedures, manuals, work instructions, and forms published to the MS Sector Principles and Operating Practices (PrOP) system.

  • Analyze document content for adequate internal process controls and to identify/eliminate redundancies or conflicts with other published [company/sector] document content.

  • Drive accountability with process owners to ensure grammatical correctness and apply PrOP document standards and format

  • Coordinate stakeholder review of documents and ensure swift and effective resolution of comments and feedback.

  • Strict adherence to process/internal requirements for the control of documents, files, and metadata and retention of supporting process records/artifacts.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills

  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and 8 years of relevant experience; or a Master's degree and 6 years of relevant experience.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Mapping Methodology.

  • Experience with Microsoft Vizio and SharePoint.

  • Lean Six Sigma Certification or Continuous Improvement and Root Cause Analysis experience

  • Process Management Certification (CBPP, APQC, BPM)

  • Knowledge of the government regulations FAR and DFARS.

  • Experienced with SIPOC, value stream mapping, and swim lane diagrams

  • Have developed and implemented metrics related to process rigor

Primary Level Salary Range: $102,000.00 - $153,000.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
